Diego Jimenez:  (El Mago de la Caja) Was born in Bogota, Colombia where he participated in various Vallenato combos.  He is percussionist of mayor and minor instrumentation. In addition to being a musician he is an accomplished  fine artist. Visit his web site at www.artplex.org he is responsible for the original art on the cd. He is pictured here with a caja Vallenata, an instrument commonly used in Vallenato music from the northern coast of Colombia.
